The next morning Cooper wanted to dress Reagan up in his monster costume. Reagan tolerated it but Cooper loved it!

Naptime, Daddy style

Daddy was in charge of Reagan today while Cooper and I went out to go swimming. First, he had over a 3-hour morning nap (usually 1 hour) and then 1.5 hours after waking up was back asleep again, this time on Daddy.

Guy Fawkes 2012

Cooper seemed underwhelmed by the fireworks this year (you might remember the "fireworks, fireworks, fireworks" video from last year). He wanted them to be "closer" and made me promise that next year "we would stand under them." He also told me that we must bring Reagan next year. It always gives me the warm fuzzies when Cooper says things like that about his brother, he really likes having him around - I hope it lasts forever!

Castle fun

Auntie Sarah (Thomason) gave the boys a great cardboard castle. It is one of those simple, genius things that keep young boys entertained for hours day after day.

They love to hide in the castle and then have daddy be a "monster".

Happy boy!

Although he is constantly congested and has a cough like an old man who has smoked for 50 years, Reagan is a very happy kid!

With a little help from chairs and Daddy, Cooper stacked the Legos taller than Daddy.

Good to be home!

After a great trip to Africa without the boys, it was even better to be back home! (Thanks to Grandma, Auntie Taj and Lou for taking care of them while we were away.)

Up, up and away!

We only have two steps at our flat so Reagan doesn't get much of a chance to demonstrate his climbing skills. Lou takes him to a friend's house a few times a week and he practices there. Here is a video Lou sent me - slight mishap at the end!
