Cooper visits his dad at work

It was "Take your kid to work day" for kids over 11 (we decided weeks, not years. . .). Cooper and I visited at lunchtime. You will notice all of Chris's female colleagues seemed much more interested than the men. . .

Yes, he really did get his own visitor's badge.

Is Chris's job really all that complicated? Cooper seems to have mastered it!

Cooper watching and playing football

Chris decided that Cooper should watch the Champions League game tonight. He appeared to enjoy it and maybe even thought he was playing. . .

Cooper moves up a diaper size

Cooper continues to grow! His size 2 diapers are too small and giving
him both muffin top (look it up at urbandictionary.com) and red marks
on his legs.

The size 3 diapers say they will work up until 15lbs, which he may have already
surpassed! (He was 14.5 lbs 2 weeks ago.) I only bought 1 weeks worth
because I have a feeling we might be moving to size 4 very soon. . .

Cooper gets a new stroller (sort-of)

I decided to convert his stroller from the bassinet to the chair today.
You aren't supposed to do it until they are 6 months old, but I
thought he would enjoy being able to look around more.
Seems to like it so far!

Cooper playing piano in his new crib

Cooper was getting too big for his small crib - he would kick against the bottom and hit his head against the top. We put the expansion pieces in, he now looks rather small. . . I found a cool toy in his closet (Some very nice person gave it to him, I wish I could remember who!) - a piano for his feet. He seemed to have fun with it tonight!

He survived!

I went to Cannes this weekend for a Hen (Bachelorette) party and Chris
and Cooper spent the weekend alone. I am happy to report they both
survived the weekend fully intact. :)

Monkey Music

I took Cooper to a music class this morning. He seemed to enjoy it
until the very end, which was when this photo was taken...

Check below for a bunch of new posts

I got very busy in Dallas and very tired dealing with a jet lagged baby when we got back and so got very behind on my posts. I filled in the blanks today, so scroll down to check them out.

91% percentile weight, 98% height!

At 9.5 weeks Cooper weighed in at 6.52 kg (14.4 lbs) and stretched to 63 cm (25 inches). No wonder he is getting too big for his 3 month clothing!

He also got his 2-month immunizations on Wednesday and came through with flying colors. He screamed for about 10 seconds after each shot, but was easily comforted and back to normal in minutes.

Jet lagged photo shoot with Cooper

Cooper has decided that he likes Dallas time a lot more than London. . . He was such a happy baby at 4am that I decided to take some pictures. Here are some of my favorites!

Cooper lounging by the pool in Texas

He ordered a Pina Colada and was despondent it had not been delivered.

Bring your baby to work day

While Chris and I were in SF we went to visit my office. Everyone seemed excited to meet him, but honestly I think they were more excited about the iPad I brought. ;)

Adam holds Cooper. He seems a bit nervous!

Prakash gives a Lil' Chub to the little chub.

Cooper goes to Stanford!

Almost. . . we got as close as the Westin in Palo Alto. KC came to visit us at the hotel for breakfast. Cooper seemed very comfortable with him!

Cooper's brother from another mother

My good friend Fred Caldwell and his wife Melanie had a baby boy 2 days after Cooper. We went and visited them in San Jose during our drive up the coast.

Cooper was trying to give him a fist bump but Noah was having none of it!

Pismo Beach

We drove up to SF from LA and decided that we would stop half way in Pismo Beach to break up the drive. We didn't have a sun hat for Cooper, so Chris let him borrow his. . .

Cooper's first photo shoot

We had a professional photographer come to my parents house and take some pictures of all the grandchildren. Unfortunately Cooper was sleeping or fussy for most of the shoot, but we got one or two fun pictures.

Cooper zonked out

We visited lots of folks in LA today and It seems I wore Cooper out!
