will be in LA until Easter, than SF for a few days and then on to
Dallas.

Cooper all dressed up

The Johnson grandparents left this morning (thanks for all the help!) and Chris came home after a week away. I got Cooper all dressed up for the special occasion (ah, the ways mother's entertain themselves...). Unfortunately he made a mess all over his jeans 10 minutes before Chris got home and I had to change him!

Cooper's PlayPlace

For the first time Cooper seemed to want to be entertained today. His grandfather set up his "PlayPlace" for him. Seems to like it so far...

(Update: The fun lasted for about 10 minutes. . . he might not be old enough for it quite yet. We will try again in a week!)

Back home!

All tests were negative, and we have been discharged!

They think it was just some sort of virus. Basically he had a cold. . . better safe than sorry!

He is very happy to have his arm back, we had to restrict his movement of it since he kept hitting himself in the face with the splint they put on to protect the IV. . .

Cooper is doing well

I am exhausted, but Cooper is doing well. We will be discharged either
this afternoon or tomorrow morning when the last of the test results
come back (assuming they are negative, which I am!).

Cooper goes to the hospital

No, not a new children's book... Last night we made an emergency trip to the hospital because Cooper had a fever, wouldn't eat and was totally listless. We have been admitted for 48 hours. So far things are looking good, tests have come back negative and his fever is down. We are just staying to finish a round of antibiotics and wait for more test results.

The white thing on his hand is an IV with gauze wrapped around it. It doesn't seem to bother him too much.

I know I am biased, but he is just too cute!

He slept for almost 6 straight hours last night (yeah!!), woke up for a short feed and then proceeded to fall back asleep immediately. I just thought he looked adorable. ;)

Cooper gets much more alert and animated

Cooper seemed much older today, his eyes were wide open and he was beginning to interact with us. Maybe our imagination but it seemed like he grew up a lot in the last 24 hours!
