Sometimes things can get a bit crazy in the morning. Unfortunately my best weapon against this is the iPad.... I feel guilty about it most of the time but then sometimes this happens, and I convince myself it is ok. ;)

We missed you Mommy Lou!

Mommy Lou had to spend last week in the hospital. Luckily she is feeling much better and will be coming back to us next week, with Grandma by her side to help out.

I am not sure who missed who more! She joined us for a bit today for a trip to the park.






Oh, and Reagan now appears to think he is too old for his stroller. That is, of course, unless his brother tries to sit in his place...

Italy - Professional photo shoot

We stayed at a villa this past week with several other families. We hired a professional photographer to take some photos of the kids. Unfortunately Cooper was not "in the right mood" for the photos at the pool, but he pulled himself together later in the evening. Here are some of my favorites:

While riding in a cab in Rome, Mom, trying to get Cooper excited about the next portion of our Italian vacation, says, "Sophie and Ayden will be there."
Cooper responds, "Sophie's not allowed."
Mom enquires, "Why not?"
Cooper responds, "Girls are just noise and noise and noise and noise. . ."
Cooper's response dwarfed by his parents laughing hysterically.

Reagan and talking

Reagan doesn't have many words, but he communicates his desires very effectively. Usually at a volume slightly (ok, much) higher than necessary. I honestly believe he just doesn't see the point. His every desire is fulfilled, why bother using words.

The words he does use, in order of most common usage:
Mommy (Mommmmeeeeee)
No
This
Out
Hot
Daddy

Out!!!

Every morning and multiple times a day Reagan goes to the front door and cries and screams "Out!" (Or at least something that sounds like it...) He is the opposite of Cooper who 9 times out of 10 would rather stay home.

Before you know it he will be scootering to school. . .

I swear it is going even faster the second time. Reagan is getting a hang of his scooter and I am sure will be racing Cooper to school in no time.
